The 2020 Celebrate in Design awards, April 30th, have been canceled.

The Celebrate In Design awards honor innovative solutions and outstanding design in Wisconsin Interior Design.  Annually, we gather to celebrate the genius that resides right here in IIDA Wisconsin.  

This time-honored event is complete with our famous silent auction.  Bid on wine baskets, furniture, rugs, spa days...splurge!  If you would like to donate to the silent auction to help us celebrate our talented WI Interior Designers, please visit our donations page.

Competition Submissions deadline - Monday, February 24th, end of day
 
Awards Presentation
Presentation of awards will be at the Celebrate in Design awards, held on April 30th.  Each recipient will receive an engraved award.  Please note, only the IIDA WI member, design firm name and project name will be announced the evening of the design awards.  Additional team members will be included in the slideshow presentation at the awards event.  Recipient of the Best of Competition award will receive the honor of presenting their project to event attendees the following year.  Awarded projects will be featured on the IIDA WI website and in our social media blasts following the event.

Judging Criteria
  • Project successfully addresses design challenges and responds to client needs
  • Project demonstrates successful incorporation of materials and interior finishes into the overall design
  • Projects uses design elements including architectural details, lighting, and furnishings to appropriately to strengthen overall design and support the design concept  
  • Project represents innovation and originality in design   
  • Project incorporates a clear design concept throughout the overall design

 

CELEBRATE In DESIGN: Student Awards Competition

 

 

Annually, the IIDA Wisconsin celebrates the talent and hard work of our student members.  Thanks to the support of our members and the Susan Wohiltz Memorial fund, we award $6,400 in scholarships at the Celebrate in Design awards.
